Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply when you use this website and when you deal with us through it. Please read them carefully. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. About us

This website is run by Jones & Quinn Investments Ltd ("we", "us", "our").

We're members of The Property Redress Scheme (membership number PRS057214) and are supervised by HMRC for anti-money laundering purposes (registration number XS006628128066). Full details are on our Registrations & complaints page.

2. Who can use our services

You must be 18 or over to use our services. If you're acting for a company or someone else, you confirm you have the authority to do so.

3. What we do

We introduce people who want to sell a property to buyers and investors in our network, and we introduce investors to property opportunities on the Wirral and in the surrounding area.

  • We're not estate agents. We don't list your property on the open market.
  • We never buy your property ourselves. If we, or anyone connected with us, ever had a personal interest in buying a property we're dealing with, we'd tell you in writing straight away.
  • We're not financial advisers, mortgage brokers or solicitors.

4. If you're selling

No fees for sellers. We don't charge you anything for our service. We're paid by the buyer or investor. You'll pay your own solicitor's fees, as you would with any sale.

Your assessment is free and comes with no obligation. Asking for an assessment doesn't commit you to anything.

Our offers. Any figure we give you before we've seen the property is a guide only. Once we've visited, we'll give you a firm figure. The final sale is still subject to the buyer's usual checks, such as searches, a survey and their finance, and nothing is legally binding until contracts are exchanged through solicitors.

Three weeks to find you a buyer. If you agree to accept a price, we ask you not to sell the property through anyone else, including estate agents or other buyers, for three weeks from the date you agree. This gives us a fair chance to find you a buyer. If we haven't found one in that time, you're free to walk away, with nothing to pay.

Before we start working for you, we'll send you separate written terms confirming exactly what we'll do, how the exclusivity period works and how we're paid. If those terms differ from these, those terms apply.

5. If you're investing or buying

Fees. You'll pay us an introduction fee if you buy a property we introduce. We'll confirm the amount, and when it's due, in writing before you commit to anything.

Opportunity details are for information only. Any figures we share, such as purchase prices, refurbishment costs, rental income, yields, end values or returns, are estimates based on the information available to us at the time. They're not guaranteed.

Do your own checks. You're responsible for your own due diligence before buying, including getting independent legal, survey, tax and financial advice where needed.

Availability. Opportunities are offered subject to availability and may be withdrawn or sold to someone else at any time before contracts are exchanged.

Investor list. Joining our investor list is free. You can leave at any time. Being on the list doesn't guarantee you'll be offered any particular opportunity.

6. Not financial advice

Nothing on this website or in anything we send you is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. We're not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Property is an investment that can go down as well as up. Your capital is at risk, and past performance or market trends are not a guide to future results. You should speak to a qualified, independent adviser before making any investment decision.

7. Identity checks

The law requires us to check the identity of everyone involved in a sale, both sellers and buyers, and to understand where a buyer's money is coming from. We can't proceed until these checks are complete. If we can't complete them, or something gives us cause for concern, we may decline to act or stop acting for you.

8. Timescales

Any timescales we give, such as how long it takes to find a buyer or reach completion, are what we aim for, not a guarantee. They depend on things outside our control, including solicitors, lenders, searches and the other party.

9. Information on this website

We work hard to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, including market figures, which we take from public sources such as the Office for National Statistics. But it's general information, it may change, and we can't guarantee it's complete or correct at any given time. Please don't rely on it alone when making decisions.

10. Our content

Everything on this website, including text, images, logos and design, belongs to us or is used with permission. You can view and share pages for your own personal use, but you mustn't copy, reproduce or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

11. Using the website properly

You mustn't:

  • use the site for anything unlawful or fraudulent
  • submit false or misleading information, or information about someone else without their permission
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems, or interfere with how it works
  • introduce viruses or other harmful code
  • use automated tools to collect information from the site

We may suspend or restrict access to the site at any time.

12. Other websites and services

Our site links to other websites, and we use third-party services to run parts of it. We're not responsible for the content or practices of other websites. Linking to them doesn't mean we endorse them.

13. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited or excluded by law. If you're a consumer, your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

Subject to that, we're not liable for:

  • any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, general information on this website
  • any investment or buying decision you make, or its outcome
  • the actions of buyers, sellers, solicitors or other third parties
  • any loss of profit, business or opportunity
  • interruptions to the website, or loss caused by viruses or other harmful material that a reasonable level of security wouldn't have prevented

14. Your information

We handle your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.

15. Complaints

If you're unhappy with our service, please tell us so we can put it right. Our complaints process, and how to contact The Property Redress Scheme if we can't resolve things, are set out on our Registrations & complaints page.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top. Changes won't affect any written agreement we've already made with you.

17. General

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will still apply. If we don't enforce any part of these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
